Terms and Conditions

Gan Sher Rhie is committed to providing quality designs and top notch customer service. The following Terms and Conditions have been tailored to ensure the Client and Gan Sher Rhie have a mutual understanding. The Terms and Conditions apply to all design services and artworks provided by Gan Sher Rhie.

Rights and Ownership

  1. The full ownership of artwork by Gan Sher Rhie will be fully released to the client after the full payment has been made within the agreed payment terms. This includes the ideas, visuals, illustrations and copywriting.
  2. All artworks from Gan Sher Rhie will be used for portfolio purposes, on www.gansherrhie.com, in print, exhibitions and others.

Revisions from Client

  1. Initial feedback is expected from the Client to ensure that the designs meet their expectations. Clients should address any necessary changes to Gan Sher Rhie in a timely manner to fulfil the project timeline.
  2. Clients will be given a total of three (3) revisions unless stated otherwise.
  3. Additional revisions will be charged according to the fee stated in the invoice. 
  4. Gan Sher Rhie is not obliged to execute any revisions requested by the Client after the project deadline. Revisions requested by Clients after project deadline will be charged a certain fee. A revised quotation will be issued to the Client before commencement of work. 

Deadlines

  1. In order to comply with the agreed deadline, Clients must provide the necessary contents, materials and feedback in a timely manner. Any delays may affect the schedule and completion of the project.

Payment

  1. Clients are required to pay a 50% deposit of the final quotation via online bank in with the proof of payment before the commencement of work.
  2. Deposits made are non-refundable. 
  3. The remaining payment is to be paid to Gan Sher Rhie via online bank in with the proof of payment before the release of final artwork. This is a strict policy to follow.
  4. For any delays on the due date written on the agreement, a 5% fee will be charged. The initial of 5% of the final invoice will be added upon each recurring 30 days period until the full payment is received by Gan Sher Rhie.

Cancellation

  1. Cancellation of project must be informed and stated clearly via email to sherrhie13@gmail.com. Deposits made are non-refundable. 
  2. The ownership of artwork still belongs to Gan Sher Rhie.

Final Artwork

  1. Clients are responsible to proofread all designs and other deliverables of the final artwork provided by Gan Sher Rhie. This is to ensure the final artwork is carefully checked for accuracy – from spelling errors to technical illustrations.
  2. The Client has to send an official approval via email to sherrhie13@gmail.com before the release for digital publication, printing or others.

Printing Services (Outsource)

  1. Gan Sher Rhie will not be held responsible for any damages or late deliveries from the print supplier.
  2. The colours on the final printed artwork may vary from proofs and computer screens.
  3. Clients are not obligated to obtain printing services from Gan Sher Rhie.

File Backup

  1. After the final sign-off and delivery of work, Gan Sher Rhie is not responsible to backup any files once they are provided to the Client.
